Pray For Them

Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.
* Ready! * Steady! * Bang!!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,
All eight girls started running.
...
Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,
When one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,
Due to bruises and pain she started crying.
When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.
One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently And enquired as to how she was..
They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post.

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand. Officials were shocked. Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears and perhaps even God's!

YES. This happened in Hyderabad (INDIA) recently!

The Sport was conducted by
National Institute of Mental Health.
All these special girls had come to participate in this event.
They were spastic children.
Yes, They were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD?

Teamwork ?
Humanity. ?
Equality among all. ??

Successful people help others who are slow in learning
So that they are not left far behind.

This is really a great message, Spread it by clicking Like, Share it, Comment and Forward it.

Life ever thrown you a wild ball?

Something happens that you would never have expected. I guess that's the whole point of calling the "unexpected" a wild ball... huh? It may very well be that it is not the curve ball itself that surprises us, but it is the disappointment from our expectations not being fulfilled.

I believe it is really helpful to remain optimistic with our expectations. I have had some difficulty convincing a buddy of mine that my philosophy is better than his. He has a different approach in regard to his personal expectations. He tells me "I expect the worst, that way I won't end up disappointed with the outcome." He feels thinking in the negative works best for him. Hmmm, I guess I'd rather feel disappointment from time to time than to become a pessimist (psst.. I know he feels disappointment sometimes, never mind what he says).

There is another option. Rather than being optimistic or pessimistic in regard to your expectations why not drop all expectations? I've tried, with limited success, to withhold expectations concerning upcoming events or circumstance. Walking into a situation without any expectation would likely be a better approach to take. Good luck with that! Being without expectations or preconceived notions would likely be more difficult than living a life without judgments or opinions. Our dreams, desires, and needs, get in the way. We naturally have expectations. We want to be in control of our lives. We want to be offered that perfect job. We want our family to support us. We want to be desirable to our partners. We want to be treated fairly. We want, we want, we want, and we want... of course we do.

But, sometimes, there is a greater plan in play. We don't always get what we want, but we always get what is right for us. The wild ball coming our way requires us to duck or dodge, altering our game plan. The rules have changed, our expectations altered once again. We get to see things differently. Sometimes the alternate path offered is a difficult one. Keep your eyes open, there are gems to be found along the challenging and rocky pathways. Remember, your party with fewer guests allowed you to have more intimate conversations, and likely deepened your relationships with those individuals.

Life is good when you let it flow naturally. Expect to get sucked into the river of life without a paddle occasionally, and maybe even get tossed out of the canoe. Learn to swim and go with the flow.

Thanking You

Recipe for happiness

Recipe for happiness:
Brain set points (43%) + condition of living (8%) +   self-actualization (49%)

So, what do you do to create happiness? Since I’ve made this my specialty, I can tell you that there are literally hundreds of things that you can do to create your own happiness. In fact, you can set up your life so that everything you do adds to your happiness, every minute of every day.

Brain Set Point: Both success and failure start in your brain as a thought. Each thought then sets off a cascade of electro-chemical energy in your physical brain. Your related mind-set then determines how you will evaluate and respond to that thought.
Set-points are something like gates that place limits on your thoughts and actions. If you had a painful failure when you once tried to “start a business,” you will likely have a physical set-point that will try to save you from future failure and pain. These set-points are embedded in emotionally-charged neural networks that create your mind-sets, and are at the core of what you feel are your “personal limitations.”

Condition of living: Generally, the context in which an individual lives is of great importance on health status and quality of life. It is increasingly recognized that health is maintained and improved not only through the advancement and application of health science, but also through the efforts and intelligent lifestyle choices of the individual and society.

You can make tour self happy by doing things which give you pleasure and avoiding things that give you pain. Pleasure points can be many like eating chocolates or ice cream. Avoid relations with people which make you nervous.

Mind It .

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams:"AAAhhhhhhhhhhh !!!"
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain:"AAAhhhhhhhhhhh !!!"
Curious, he yells: " Who are you ?"
He receives the answer: " Who are you ?"
Angered at the response, he screams: " Coward!"
He receives the answer: " Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks: " What's going on?"
The father smiles and says: " My son, pay attention ."

And then he screams to the mountain: " I admire you!"
The voice answers: " I admire you !"
Again the man screams: " You are a champion !"
The voice answers: " You are a champion !"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains: " People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE .
"It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life ;
Life will give you back everything you have given to it."

YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT'S A REFLECTION OF YOU.

Thanking You

Ten things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !
1. Who is Anna Hazar...e?
An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War
2. What's so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra
3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.
In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.
4. Ok,...?This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.
5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.
6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.
8. It's an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).
7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?
The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.
Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.
8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?
A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.
9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?
Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.
10. Ok, got it. What can I do?
At least we can spread the message. How?
Click Like
At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India.
At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.
At least we can pray for his good health.

Thanks for reading.

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the
dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her
...Mercedes and got out. His Pinto was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for
the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked
poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew
how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's
warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough.
Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his
knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get
dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to
talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louisiana was only just passing
through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him.
Any amount would have been all right with her.. She already imagined all the
awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought
twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in
need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He
had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any
other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw
someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed,
and Bryan added, 'And think of me..'

He! waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and
depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the
twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite
to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It
was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene
was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe
her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the
whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months
pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old
lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger.
Then she remembered Bryan ..

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill.. The
waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old
lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came
back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something
written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You don't owe
me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm
helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let
this chain of love end with you.'

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but
the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from
work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady
had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed
it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she
gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's going to be all
right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

There is an old saying......'What goes around comes around.' Today I sent you
this story, and I'm asking you to pass it on. Let this light shine.

Carrom ramvanu,(aloe vera) juice pivanu , majja ni life

My favorite online dictionary defines attitude as a manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, esp. of the mind. Our tendencies and dispositions define our thoughts and our thoughts become our actions and our actions become our habits and our habits become our character and our character becomes our destiny .Hence, a right attitude is vital, towards yourself, towards everyone else and towards your life.

Towards life : Only if I were 70 year old with a good pension plan ,would I dare to say that the right attitude to live life is " carrom ramvanu,(aloe vera) juice pivanu , maja ni life". But things get a little complicated and intense when you go down the age ladder. Not only do you finish the template requirements but you also kill yourself living up to the expectations of the society and culture. You strive and strive each day, sometimes completely against your will and just live because that is how you think you are supposed to. That is not the right attitude. That is an attitude of a workaholic idiot who doesn't know what he/she is doing, literally.
Love what you do and do what you love and you would not be working a single day in your life. Aim for something and strive hard to achieve it. When you achieve it, live the success and celebrate your accomplishments. Stay healthy and exercise so that you are able to see the few more years of your live that you deserve to. Every now and then, drive to a beach, walk bare-footed on the sand and breathe fresh air as you admire the blueness of the lake and the majesty of the sky. Every now and then, pause your life, take a break and indulge in things you really wish to do at that point in time. Live a life that when you are lying on your deathbed and right before your death, when the scenes of your life flash back to your memory, these are the words you'd want to utter " now that is living ". Cultivate this attitude towards life through few efforts and soon after, your mindset will orient towards it naturally.

Attitude towards yourself: Love yourself or else you will never be able to love anyone else properly and no-one else will be able to love you too. Forgive yourself if you are getting another chance in life because it is okay to do mistakes in life. Do not regret anything that you ever did because at that point in time, it made you happy. Be true to yourself and god, even if you are not true to anyone else. Tell yourself that you matter and stand up for yourself and your principles even when no one else does. Believe in yourself, your dreams, and your capabilities.

Live. Love. Laugh. Stay fit. Follow your dreams. Give. Chill.
Life is too short to hate, hold grudges, cry or do things you don't want to.
Live it out king-size.
Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well. And that my friend, is THE right attitude.

Bapu Kehnda Tension Nahi Laini !

Jugaad of Life :  Tension Lene Ka Nahin, Dene Ka.

1. Don’t give up your success:
Do not give up at the first hurdle! While it isn't sensible to pursue an idea or project that will not take off despite your best efforts, no-one got anywhere in life by giving up at the first downfall. If you want something badly enough and have the skills required to pull it off, you can often do so with nothing but hard work and determination. And the harder it is to achieve the better you will feel when you do...

2. Strive for perfection:
If you are going to bother doing something do it well! Mediocre efforts won’t make you proud, so do your best in every way. Cook from scratch, decorate according to instructions (preparation is key!) and do your job to the best of your ability. Invest as much time in nurturing your children when they are young as you can; you will never get those years back, and soon enough they will refuse to listen to anything you have to say.

3. Be true to yourself at all times:
Who cares what anyone else thinks? You may be surprised... Many people are inhibited or feel they are being scrutinized by others. Young adults, especially, seek to fit in and to be approved of by their peers. We should celebrate our differences! Don’t follow the crowd: be creative - dare to be different. Despite what people might say, they often respect and admire ‘individuals’. Speak your mind clearly but without causing unnecessary offence. We are not responsible for people’s reactions to our opinions, but we are responsible for how we convey our thoughts. Be diplomatic but steadfast.

4. Treat others respect:
When you treat people nicely they usually reciprocate; otherwise, they are probably best avoided. Treat people in the way you would like to be treated (always asking permission regarding anything kinky!), and do your best to make people feel good about themselves. Everyone has the right to an opinion - do not try to force your views on others. Consider your neighbors (locally and globally) and try to live your life without disrupting the lives of others or causing anyone harm.

5. Enjoy the pleasures of the without guilt:

6. Find a job you love:
You will probably be happier doing a job you love for less money than one you hate that pays far more. And there is a job out there that you would love – you just may not have considered or even hear of it. We spend most of our adult lives at work; it is crazy to choose a job that you do not genuinely bounce out of bed feeling happy to do. Be inventive; consider working for yourself, or retraining in an entirely different field. The world is a far smaller place than it was a decade or two ago, and the Internet has created many interesting opportunities. Don’t settle for something that makes you miserable. You deserve better than that.

7. Forgive yourself when you make a mistake:
We all make mistakes or, even worse, knowingly do something ‘wrong’ or 'bad,’ that makes us feel terrible. Some people do truly terrible things, but the vast majority does not. Psychological research has shown that we are far more critical of ourselves than other people are, and that we expect to be judged far more harshly than we would judge others in the same position. Let yourself off. Start afresh and give yourself a break; to have recognized you did something wrong means that you have a moral compass and that your conscience is working just fine. Applaud yourself - there are many people who wouldn't have noticed...

8. Take everything you hear and read with a pinch of salt:
Remember that most newspapers and television broadcasters are not independent, and that people have their own motivations for saying/writing things. These may be political, financial, or sentimental, but they are usually not worth getting excited about. Whilst we should try to be aware of events going on in the world around us, and play whatever part we can in making the world a better place, it is foolish to allow negative news and gossip to affect our daily lives. The media feeds us stories to provoke reactions, and politicians say whatever they must to gains votes, money, and power.

Zindagi Ki Medicine

What is self-esteem?

Self-esteem is the set of beliefs that you have about yourself. It is how good (or bad) you feel about yourself.

Example self-beliefs that constitute self-esteem:

I’m an excellent writer
I’m a good human being
I’m great at explaining concepts to others
I feel I’m ugly
I’m too fat
I’m not good with people
I’m a bad person

Why is self-esteem important?

Success in anything we take up in our life is directly linked to the amount of confidence we have in ourselves. Lack of confidence in oneself or low self-esteem prevents us from achieving our full potential in life. A low self-esteem also prevents us from enjoying life fully. By law of attraction, what we believe about ourselves is what the universe shows to us, and thus in order to attract positive things in our life, it is important that our beliefs about ourselves be positive.
Where does self-esteem come from?

Childhood: A large part of self-esteem comes from our childhood. The quality of relationships we have had with our parents, and the amount of praise you got from them has an effect on self-esteem. It is thus important that we positively acknowledge children for their achievements.
Our own thoughts: Some people are naturally more positive than others. The kind of self-talk we do to ourselves is thus a big contributor to our self-esteem.
Achievements:  Success in anything we take up increases our self-esteem. Failures tend to decrease it.
Peers:  What people around us say to us affects our self-esteem. This can be people from work, family or those we have romantic relationships with.

People with high self-esteem tend to:

Feel confident in their abilities. They do not fear failure and are willing to ask for help when needed.
Consider themselves equal to other, regardless of specific talents or outward differences they have. They neither have a superiority complex not inferiority complex.
Standup for what they believe, do not feel attacked when they face opposition, and are open to change their beliefs and grow.Trust their own judgment and do not feel guilty when other people do not like the choices they make. They learn from the past and plan for the future. They do not worry too much about the past.
Believe that others accept them, love them or at least find them interesting.

How can I improve my self-esteem?

Be positive. Focus on achievements and talents, rather than shortcomings.
Stretch yourself beyond what you do now.
Do not be hard on yourself. Let go of any mistakes made in the past.
Surround yourself with positive people who encourage you in whatever you take up.
Monitor and celebrate your success. Reward yourself when you achieve milestones.
Take good care of yourself - body, mind, heart and spirit.
Regularly practice self-love. Look into the mirror each day and say " Wow - How wonderful you are - I Love you !"
Work with a professional coach Like Esteem MeLife who can quickly point areas of improvement.

New research shows that the power of the mind is even stronger than once thought. A strong sense of self-worth actually creates a type of self-fulfilling prophecy: the more you believe you are able to achieve something, the more likely it is that you will.

There is an immense requirement of developing self esteem among individuals for better professional and personal results. Motivation can be defined as the internal condition that activates behavior and gives it direction; and energizes and directs goal oriented behavior. Most human beings have dreams of achieving something in life, however not everyone succeeds in their endeavor. This is because along with a dream to attain something, one should also possess a strong desire to reach the target. For instance, it may be your dream to write a book and get it published. You may have the ability to write a good book, but lack of motivation will come in the way of making your dream come true. Hence, it is necessary that every individual learns the importance of motivation and the ways in which he can overcome his lack of motivation in life.

There is this part of us that determines our capability to enjoy life and achieve success. This is our ‘self image’. According to Psychologist Dr. Nathaniel Branden, ‘Our self image is who or what we think we are, consciously and unconsciously- our physical and psychological characteristics, our shortcomings and strengths.’

Our self image results in our self esteem. No human being is born with a low self esteem. Some feelings that give rise to low self esteem are- our disrespect for ourselves, feelings of guilt, fear of failure, constant comparison with others, and the constant criticism we encounter in our immediate environment.

Our circumstances and more importantly our reaction to these circumstances determine our self-esteem. And our self-esteem determines what we achieve in life.
